Offal Meat

I was in the grocery store this weekend and went past the meat section and saw this section.

It made me laugh. I can't help but think it means "Awful" meat, as in "Our meat is awful!".

It turns out that I am not far from the truth. I looked it up in the dictionary. It defines it as a noun meaning

1. Waste parts, especially of a butchered animal.
2. Refuse; rubbish.
